The Tscudin 400 proLine is the flagship model from Tschudin’s grinding machine range.

One of the most innovative features of the 400 proLine is its patented CNC-controlled workrest blade. Unlike conventional centreless grinding machines, where the workrest blade remains fixed between the grinding and regulating wheels, the Tschudin system uses a dedicated CNC-controlled W-axis to move the workrest blade in and out of the grinding zone. This allows components to be loaded outside the grinding area before automatically moving into the machining position. This means loading is safer and faster. It allows for improved operator or machine access as well as reduced risk from loading errors.

Another unique feature is the patented movable regulating wheel. Tschudin’s 4-axis design automatically adjusts the regulating wheel height via a CNC-controlled Y-axis. This allows for the machine to automatically adjust for wheel wear, reducing the input needed from operators and improving consistency and efficiency across batches.
