MACH 2026 Review

The AGS MACH 2026 Team
DLyte Discussions
Tschudin Talks

MACH 2026 proved to be another highly successful exhibition for Advanced Grinding Solutions. Despite the current global challenges, visitor attendance remained strong there was a high level of engagement throughout the show. The AGS stand welcomed visitors from a wide range of industries including aerospace, automotive, defence, medical, precision engineering and power generation. Displaying with us on the stand were several of our principals including: Comat, Danobat, Krebs & Riedel, Wick AG, Tschudin, DLyte (GPA Innova), and Kraft & Bauer. Their technologies attracted significant attention throughout the week and generated a large number of technical discussions and new project enquiries.

Strong Interest in Dry Electropolishing Technology

One of the standout technologies at MACH 2026 was the DLyte dry electropolishing technology from GPA Innova. DLyte showcased impressive mirror finished parts as well as the DLyte 10L machine.

Manufacturers were particularly interested in:

    • Reducing manual polishing operations
    • Improving repeatability
    • Processing complex geometries
    • Enhancing surface quality
    • Reducing environmental impact compared to traditional finishing methods

The unique DLyte technology brings the highest standard results in polishing with benefits that are particularly of interest to medical and aerospace. With the recent success of these sectors in the UK, the DLyte experts were in high demand at the show!

Danobat’s Success in Aerospace and Power Generation

One of the biggest success cases in aerospace in recent years is Danobat. Every day, more than 3 million people fly in aircraft powered by components manufactured on Danobat grinding machines. This is testament to their huge investment in research and development resulting in the highest quality internal and external grinders now being produced. With already many big names having existing Danobat projects, many more in the aerospace and power generation industry visited the AGS stand to discuss achieving ultra-precision in their cylindrical grinding projects.

Wick AG “Spin the Wheel” Creates Major Interest

Another major attraction on the AGS stand was the Wick AG “Spin the Wheel” competition, where visitors had the opportunity to win a free Fanuc robot as part of a future automation project.

The competition generated excellent engagement throughout the exhibition and many freebies were won. If you participated, keep a look out on our Linkedin page where we will announce the final three robot winners soon.

With the increasing competitiveness in manufacturing, automation efficiencies gained are becoming ever more valuable. Wick AG remains at the forefront of customised robotic cells and production lines, maximising automation solutions for their customers.

Technology Highlights Across the AGS Stand

Krebs & Riedel

Visitors were interested in grinding wheel technologies designed to improve performance, wheel life and surface quality. Krebs & Riedel always have a colourful array on display with over 130 years of experience behind them.

Tschudin

The innovative, high-production centerless grinding systems attracted attention from manufacturers seeking the tightest tolerances and fastest loading. Tschudin was particularly successful with interest from medical manufacturers at this show.

Comat

With the largest machine on the stand, Comat’s advanced filtration technologies generated discussions around coolant cleanliness, machine reliability and improved grinding performance. All of which are becoming ever more important with rising material costs. The F130 is the ultimate filtration solution for tool grinding machines.

Kraft & Bauer

Fire suppression systems continued to be an important topic, particularly for companies investing in high-value machinery. Kraft & Bauer UK were on hand to provide live demos, displaying how their system remains the gold standard in machine tool fire suppression.

Thank You for Visiting AGS at MACH 2026

We would like to thank everyone who visited the AGS stand during MACH 2026, as well as our technology partners for their support throughout the exhibition. If you would like to discuss any of the technologies displayed at MACH or arrange a demonstration, please contact the AGS team.
