Modler specialities include centerless match grinding whereby parts are ground to suit a specific size of bore on a sister component as commonly required in the fuel injection or hydraulics industry.
Modler have also developed advanced angular approach centerless grinding machines to allow for end faces to be ground at the same time as diameters.
Very special multi-spindle machines are also offered with 3 or more grinding heads that allow diameters and both end faces to be ground on the same machine!
In the field of mass produced very high precision components for turbochargers, bearings, fuel injection or other technologies Modler consistently comes up with high-end production solutions that allow for parts to be made to a higher quality and faster than ever before.
Although used to working alongside specialist loading system suppliers Modler are also special in being able to offer their own designed and built loading systems incorporating advanced pre and post process gauges and therefore the in-house turn-key supply of even the most complex production cells is guaranteed.
Most companies tend to concentrate on 1 micron tolerances—with Modler you may consider sub-micron tolerances to Cpk 1.67 as a matter of daily life.
We have supplied Modler’s award winning advanced manufacturing cells into the UK allowing end users to lead the world in their chosen field and commonly a cell of 2 or 3 Modler machines will replace 10 or more conventional machines.
